A NOISE ABATEMENT SOCIETY.

New York has a successful Noise Abatement Committee. Paris is taking drastic steps- to reduce noise. Sooner or lathe Britain too will be driven to action. Following the publication of our_ little book on ugliness and noise we are forming a Noise Abatement Society. We should, therefore, be glad to hear from anyone in London who would take an active share in helping us to launch the society. Professor A. M. Low, the eminent authority on noise, is honorary consultant.— AINSLIE DARBY, C. C. HAMILTON, 87 Alexandra Road, N.W.8.
