The Word You

Impossible to use the word you without you, to think of your beauty your weight, breath and movement without speaking the language of those who have used the same words and not for the first time: I think of your beauty, your weight and your breath and your movement, I think the word love with its landscape of shadows and fires, lost rivers, its haunted, everyday objects its faces in windows.

We move in each other like figures in landscapes. I think of your beauty, the vast simple rocks of the mountains, your weight, breath and movement. George Szirtes Curzon.
