The following Gentlemen, who, from neglecting to pay to the Society their arrears of annual contributions, had forfeited their privileges as Fellows of the Society, were by ballot, readmitted into the Society-Dr. Bedlam; W. A. Mackinnon, Esq.; Reve- rend Dr. Lardner ; and the Reverend T. Radsett.

The following presents were received, vjx.-Reilections concerning the Inexpediency and Unchristian Character of Capital Punishment; by the Reverend S. Wiz, F.R.S. Additional Specimene of Engraving ; by W. Pole, Esq. Official Reports made to Go- vernment by Doctors Russell and Barry on His Disease called Cholera Spasmodica. Researches on the large Saurian Reptiles found in a Fossil state near the Sea-coasts of Lower Normandy ; by X: Geoffrey St. Hilaire. Different Methods for determining at sea, without Nautical Observations, the absolute Rite of Chronometers; by the Duke du Hamel.
