It is only by counting all her Slays, North and South, that half of the population of Austria..Hungitry can be reckoned as Slay. "Southern Slav" (Yougo-Slav), in its very widest possible sense, includes the Bulgars as well as ' he Croats. Serbs, and Slovenes; in the sense almost invariably employed in Austria it means the three latter without the former.—I
