THE Ministerial crisis broke in upon the quiet of Osborne House, and led to the departure of the Court for London sooner perhaps than would otherwise have been the case.

Sir Robert Peel waited upon the Queen on Saturday evening, with the tender of his own resignation and that of his colleagues. On Sunday, Prince Albert, Sir Robert, and the Royal suite, attended divine service in Whippingham Church. On Monday, Sir Robert took his departure for London.

On Tuesday, Lord John Russell, in obedience to the Royal summons, re- paired to the Isle of Wight; and returned to town on Wednesday, with the Queen's commands to form an Administration.

On Thursday afternoon, the Queen, Prince Albert, and the children, left their marine retreat for London, and arrived at Buckingham Palace about six o'clock.

Lord John Russell had an audience of the Queen soon after her Majesty's aerival, and another yesterday.
