The revenue figures for the first eleven months of the

financial year 1910-11 were published in Wednesday's papers. The total receipts into the Exchequer from revenue during this period were £177,420,227, being an increase of 258,415,184 over the corresponding amount for last year. Although the greater part of this increase is due to arrears of taxation from 1909-10, yet there seems no doubt that there will be a sub- stantial surplus at the end of this month.
