A QUAKER INSCRIPTION.

[TO TM EDITOR OF THE " SPECTATOR.") Srn,—One is naturally shy of attempting to correct the touching draft epitaph in the Spectator of February 19th, but you may admit a respectful suggestion to include the Quakers who have fallen in Mesopotamia, and also to conciliate Scottish views by substituting a. phrase avoiding exclusive allusion to " England." There are, too, Quakers from the overseas Dominions of the Empire who have made the supreme sacrifice.—I am, Sir, &c., 5 Pump Court, Temple, E.C. EDWARD ATKIN. [We cannot but accept both corrections.—En. Spectator.]
