A SUPPLEMENTARY HAND-LIST OF THE MUHAM- MADAN MANUSCRIPTS IN THE

LIBRARIES OF THE UNIVERSITY AND COLLEGES OF CAMBRIDGE. By Edward G. Browne. (Cambridge University Press. 42s. net.)—Professor Browne's high reputation as an Orientalist makes it needless for us to do more than chronicle the appear- ance of this valuable continuation of the Hand-list which he published in 1900. This volume deals with 1,577 manuscripts in the Arabic character, about 800 of which have been acquired in the last twenty years by the Cambridge University. Library, whilst the others lay uncatalogued in college libraries.
