A letter from Lisbon, published in the Madrid Heraldo, says

it is generally re- ported in Lisbon that Queen Victoria will pay a visit to the Queen of Portugal in spring next. [Portugal, hire Ireland, must be quieter first.] The Augsburg Gazette states that it was the intention of Prince Ferdinand of Saxe Coburg shortly to leave Vienna with his son, Prince Leopold, for England first, and afterwards for Portugal

The new Hall of Lincoln's Inn is to be opened in the last week of the present month: Prince Albertis expected to attend; and a grand entertainment is to be provided.

Lord Frederick Fitzclarence, of Etal House, has been appointed Deputy Grand Master of the Freemasons for the adjoining counties, in the room of the late Earl of Durham.—Newcastle Chronicle.
