which is devoted to the interests of that Province, in Great Britain. There are many interesting features—for instance, a column about a Mr. Smith who admitted to making 119,000 a year out of rum-running, and objected to paying Income Tax on this amount, as it was an illicit trade. The Judicial Committee of the Privy Council has decided that he cannot defeat taxation by "setting up his own wrong" and have made him pay. * * * *
