The Complete Peerage, Haronetage, Knight age. and House of Commons
for 1873. By Edward Watford, M.A., late Scholar of Balliol College, Oxford. (Hardwicke.)—This is a most convenient little book, com- bining Mr. Walford's excellent peerage, barouetage, knightago, and House of Commons sbetween the boards of a pocket volume,—fat, indeed, but small and portable quite out of proportion to the vast quantity of useful information it contains. Of course, we cannot expect all that is in Debrett's largo volumes on the same subjects, but the convenience of the fonti and the careful selection of the more important elements of the information contained, make this single volume in some respects more convenient than those. It is very well got up.
