PARCELS FROM AMERICA

SIR,—I must protest at having my name dragged into a correspondence in your paper covering parcels from America. Mr. Wedderburn in his letter in a recent issue makes the following statements: That I have kept a record of parcels lost ; that my record shows the same results as his ; and that I am an old friend of his. Not one of these statements is true. I may add that I have always discouraged my friends from sending parcels, and the few that have been sent I have always received safely.—
