The Consol market has ruled heavy during the whole of

the week, and a fall has taken place in prices. On Saturday last the closing price, both for money and time, was 90i I. Yesterday the latest official quotations were, for money and the present account, 89i for September, 90 to 90i. The Directors of the Bank of England have raised their minimum rate of discount to 4 per cent. The stock of bullion held by the Bank is now 14,457,648/., and the reserve of notes and coin has been decreased to 6,461,8181.
