The Pilgrim's Progress. By John Bunyan. (Routledge and Sons.) The

editor, Mr. George Offor, tells us in his preface that he has done his best to make this edition " a correct fac-simile of what the author himself published." He has added notes, for the most part extracted from other works of Bunyan (a list is given). There is a memoir, about the authorship of which we are a little curious. The publication of the Book of Sports was hardly an effort of infidelity against Christianity. Who was the writer that looked upon Laud as an " infidel" ? There are numerous illustrations, some in colour, from the pencil of Mr. J. D. Watson.
