Clever stuff Sir: Read Richard Ingrams's article again this week.

Don't really know what to say. Better say something or you won't print this letter. Let's think. Not as easy as it was. Old brain-box not working too well these days. Don't really like reading, find it a bit of a strain. And writing's an even bigger strain. Like being back at school. I'm getting a headache and I'd rather be out of doors playing lacrosse. Just because I know Peter Cook etc I'm supposed to be funny. Must remember to pick up Peter's laundry on Monday. He gets so angry when I forget. Hell, I'm wandering. Concentrate now. What on earth can I say about this article? If I could think of something to say, I wouldn't know how to say it. I know, I'll say it was boring. That's safe. Leave the clever stuff to the pseuds. Golly, thank God that's over for another week.
