Certainly, Professor Anderson is the pet of fame. When he

leaves off covering the walls with announcements of his own greatness, he finds his glories still celebrated by—a rival manager! A farce, called The (great Gun Trick, produced at Drury Lane, consists of nothing more than an imitation of the tricks and manners of the "Wizard" by Mr. C. Mathews ; and Mr. Anderson, alluding to this fact, when addressing his patrons at Covent Garden, boasts that he attracts not only one au- dience, but two !
