A CORRECTION.

SIR,—I noticed a slight inaccuracy in your issue of December 15th, where it is stated that there was not a single gain by the National Liberals in the last election. According to the Times, Sir Clifford Cory, who had lost his seat for St. Ives, Cornwall, last year, regained it at the General Election, this year ; he was a National Liberal.—I am, Sir, &c.,
