think it is high time that some of us who are sincerely. devoted Church of England men ought to let it be distinctly known that if it be unlawful (or even inexpedient) for us to invite communicants of other branches of the Church of Christ to join with us in the common Holy Communion of our common Lord and Master, then it is idle for the Anglican branch of the Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church to talk about Christian unity.
