[We have beard of the Civil War, and we remember that the Spectator was heartily on the side of the North, as were the vast majority of the working classes of this country, though not then enfranchised, and also leadees of public: opinion, to name only two, BO different in social position, training, and outlook as John Bright and the Duke of Argyll.—ED.
