We welcome the announcement that Mr. Hilton Young has joined

the Unionist Party. He says that Mr. Baldwin stands for all that he most desires in politics. We may add here that Mr. Hilton Young has been appointed by the Crown as a lay member of the General Medical Council. We have long advocated such representation, and we heartily welcome this important and salutary change and the choice of so wise a member.
