Pitman's Popular Lecturer and Reaaer. Edited by Henry Pitman. (F.

Pitman.)—This is the first volume of a now series, the former series having reached seven volumes. It consists of a collection of lectures by various authors, and is intended chiefly for working men's clubs. The success of the former series proves the fitness of these volumes for the readers for whom they are designed, and we think that the new feature of this series, viz., the introduction of readings from good authors, will add to its attractions.
