GERMAN BEDS . .

[To, the Edda. of THE SPECTATOR.] SIR,—I can confirm Sir Christopher Robinson's experience of German beds as related in The ,Spectator of April 21st. The huge bolster-like structure he mentions was formerly known as the " Dutch- wife" and I have, met it:-in places so widely sundered as Berlin and Kerrata, Algeria. -I think the only thingto do is to heave it out on to the floor.—Ii am, Sir, &c.,
