On the 3d inst.. at Twickenham, the lion. THOMAS BA RNEWALT., only son of Lord Trimlestown, to MAOARET RANDALINA, daughter of the late Phillip Roche, Esq., of Donore, in the county of Kildare. On the 2,1 inst., at Polebrook, Northamptonshire, the Rev. W. &mono, Chaplain to his Majesty, to Isaezziot MART, second (laughter of the Rev. C. E.Isham, Rector of Polebrook.

On the 26th ult.. at Craubourne. Dorsetshire, THOMAS PERY KNox, Esq., eldest son of the late Right Hon. George Knox, to FRANCES ELIZABETH, eldest daughter of the late Captain George Burdett, R.N. Ou the let lust, at Barton, JAMES Ks!, Esq., of Salby hall, Lincoln, to AMELIA, daughter of the late Rev. Richard Webb, of Windsor Castle, Rector of Langley and Wraydesbury, Bucks, Minor Canon of St. George's Chapel, Windsor, St. Paul's Cathe- dral, and Westminster Abbey, and Priest in Ordinary to their late Majesties George the Third and Fourth.

DEATHS.

On the 31st ult., at his house, Southampton, Vice-Admiral MATTHEW HENRY SCOTT, in his 71st year. On the 29th ult , at St. Ibis's. Herts. the Rev. WILLIAM LAX, in his 75th year, Lowndes Professor of Astronomy in the University of Cambridge. On the 27th ult., at Chelsea, Mr. JAMES COOPER, many years a clerk in the Bank of England, in his 86th year. On the 13th ult., at Union Street. Edinburgh, of scarletina and hooping.cough. Az. ZANDER Ton; on the 22.1, ELIZABETH ; and on the 26th Juni ; a son and two daughters, the only children of Mr. Daniel Mackay. On the 1.",th ult.. at Glasgow, Mrs. MACDONALD, in her 110th year. She retained her faculth s till the last. She was born nineteen years before the Rebellion or 1745; and retained a vivid recollection of many of the striking events of that stirring period, respecting which she was fund of talkiug to her f isiters. She had a good deal of a Jacobite iu her predilections.
