Not to be born, the old men say, Not to be born is the best for man. When the marrow's boiled away The bones are hollow in the pan.

A backbone like a barren tree Promotes the pessimistic mind.

Whines the tree and sounds the bone Hollow words along the wind. Louts LAWLER.
