No. 1392: Echo

You are invited to write an 'Echo' poem (maximum 12 lines). The first line of each couplet should be in the form of a ques- tion, the second an answer by a monosylla- bic, disyllabic, or even trisyllabic echo. Echoes may be exact (narrow: arrow), homophonic (weight: wait) or approximate (goldfish: oafish). Entries to 'Competition No. 1392' by 18 October.
