The Report of the Women's Liberal Unionist Association gives an

interesting account of the way in which a Committee of that body took up and carried out the excellent work of contradicting the falsehoods in regard to British policy and the behaviour of British soldiers spread throughout the Con- tinental Press. They sought to counteract the ravings of foreign newspapers founded on deliberate concoctions by the present.' ment of the true facts. This good work is still going forward. and efforts will, we understand, now be made to stem the tide of falsehood and malignity in South Africa as well as on the Continent. The hon. secretary of the Committee is Mrs. Macmillan, 52 Cadogan Place, S.W., and to her those who wish to help should send their subscriptions.
