The Indian warfare in Florida still continues. A large de-

tachment of Indians escaped from the American forces, and made their way through the province, killing all the inhabitants, young and old, of both sexes, whom they could seize. The Mexicans have renewed the war in Texas, with a determi. nation, if possible, to exterminate the Yankee intruders.
