In the House of Lords, yesterday evening, a resolution was

presented from the Committee appointed to regulate the proceedings of Lord Car- digan's trial, to the effect that no person should be permitted to sit or stand near the Throne, except such Peers of Ireland and Scotland as do not sit in the House, minor Peers, and the oldest sons of Peers.

The only other business before their Lordships wasIthe presentation of petitions.
