It transpired in Paris on Thursday, that Ministers had given

up the idea of demanding a dotation for the Duke of Nemours this session ; and the correspondent of the Morning Chronicle says that the King was reconciled to their determination, as they could not hope to succeed 'with the Chambers. The same writer says that the rich Louis Philippe is in debt—in consequence of his expensive building and his sons' extra- vagance !
