DE HAVILLAND'S GOOD FIGURES Aircraft expansion is now making itself

very obvious in the results of the leading aircraft manufacturing companies. De Havilland Aircraft Company earned a net profit of £152,812 for the year ended September 30th, compared with £122,184 in the previous year. Even these figures do not reflect the results of that further expansion of the rate of aircraft production which has presumably taken place since the Munich Agreement. The dividend is maintained at the previous year's rate of to per cent., plus a 2i per cent. cash bonus. But it is payable on this occasion on an ordinary capital increased by the issue of 200,000 £i ordinary shares in July, 1937.
