SIR,—I am sorry that you thought it appropriate to publish 'A Christmas Sermon' by A. Waugh. His revolting cynicism both in regard to Christmas and Unity does neither you nor him credit. There is so much positive good to be attributed to these two subjects that I hope next year you will commission someone who will encourage rather than discourage, who will be more accurate in his facts and who will not foul his own nest, as he claims to be a (Roman) Catholic.
