Too kind

Sir: I accuse you of the crime of being too kind to Mr Heath.

You state (December 16) that by the " scandalous European Communities Act and the surrender of parliamentary and popular sovereignty tc the Brussels bureaucracy" Mr Heath was keeping a promise.

Oh no, even in that he was breaking a promise or rather two Promises — " full-hearted consent " and "negotiate, no more, no less ".

In future please desist from this unwarranted generosity.
