Thus a small lunacy becomes a large issue. But there's a simple way of obviating the kind of squalid nonsense that took place in Trafalgar Square on Sunday. Such demonstrations should be held at Wembley, or Twickenham, or any other suitable stadium. 1 he demonstrators should be matched by an equal number of professional hecklers. The actual audience should be limited to preSs, police, law and priesthood. If more than a shouting match is required, the two sides should go to it, and all that should appear in the following morning's papers is a statement of casualties.
