IRELAND.

Much consternation has been caused in Dublin by the flight of Mr. Finn, the Treasurer of the Corporation. The Lord Mayor stated at a rueeting of the Town-Council, on Monday, that the defarcation appeared to be 5,0001.; the amount for which Mr. Finn's securities (Councillors Walsh and Nolan) were liable. Much of that money was in Mr. Finn's hands to pay lawsuits; and that portion must be made good at once, or serious inconvenience would ensue. Sir Drury Jones Dickenson, an officer of the Corporation, had been sent to Liverpool, in pursuit of the fugitive. Mr. Guinness immediately left the Council, and returned with 2,000/. cash to go on with ; saying that as much more was at the service of the Corporation if needed.
