A weekend of superb music, sensational food, fine wines, impeccable comfort — all set amidst the delights of the Outer Hebrides in early Summer.

Rosemary Schrager is the resident chef and will prepare the food for the weekend. She also runs the in-house Amhuinnsuidhe Cookery School (the finest food in Scotland and the most beautiful cookery school anywhere' Bruce Anderson). Guests will be able to enjoy all the facilities of the castle with its library, billiards mom and traditional comforts as well as seventy square miles of wild and spectacularly beautiful countryside in one of Europe's last unspoilt wildernesses.

Concerts will take place on Saturday, Sunday and Monday evenings. The outstanding musical programme will be performed by a superb quartet led by Peter Manning - widely acknowledged as one of the finest British musicians. As soloist director and concert master he has been at the forefront of musical performance in England and in the major music centres of the world for the last ten years. The quartet comprises Peter Manning, violin; Philip Dukes, viola; Josephine Knight, cello and Artur Pizzaro, piano.

The programme will include Brahms Piano Quartet, Mozart G minor Piano Quartet, Beethoven op.8 String Trio, Handel Halvorsen Duo, Mozart Duo, Rachmaninov Piano/Cello Sonata, Bloch Suite for Piano and Viola and Franck Sonata for Piano and Violin. Shorter encores will include Saint-Saens Introduction, Rondo Capriccioso, Wieniawsky Polonaise, Faure Berceuse and many surprises....

Prices for this wonderful experience (inclusive of VAT) will be from £2400 for a couple sharing and £1500 for a single MOM. This will include accommodation, all food and drink (champagne and fine wines), daytime excursions and transport to and from Stornoway airport.
