National Portrait Gallery. No. XIX.

The portraits in this number are those of Lord Goderich, Mr. Agar Ellis, and Professor Porson : they are not only well engraved, but accurate likenesses. That of Mr. Agar Ellis, by Sc aivEsr, from a picture by Mr. PHILLIPS, is particularly good. The accompanying Memoirs, by Mr. JERDAN, add greatly to the interest of the work ; which is one of the cheapest and most excellent of its kind, and deserving of its extensive circulation.
