Sut,---While I agree wholeheartedly with the sent. ments expressed in Alan Brie's article, it is neces- sary to point out that Section 6, para. 2 of the Offices, Shops and Railway Premises Act (1963) lays down a temperature of 60.8° F (16° C) not 68.8° F. A temperature of less than this 'shall not he deemed, after the first hour, to be a reasonable temperature while work is going on.'
