Appeal

Sir: We are a group of British, Canadian and Zambian young men (all engineers — British trained) who have come together and help the drought-stricken people of this part of Africa. We quit our lucrative jobs in the Middle East to dedicate our five years in the service of man as Conserva- tives. Please kindly publish this letter in your highly esteemed journal to which we are great readers. The situation in this part of Africa is so critical that we urgently need your help, dear readers. We need old clothes (shoes included), food, especially skimmed milk, and financial assistance. We have under our care 265 people, half of whom are children. Ours is exclusively private guided by Conservative principles and Thatcherism and Christianity. We are receiving lots of help from our many friends in Europe. States and Middle East. We need yours too. We are building a dormitory costing £21,000; we need an extra 116,000 to finish this project. We shall accept any donation financial or otherwise. Our situation is really critical, we need your urgent help. All offers and donations to: Mr S. M. Wilsons

or Revd S. Munyama
