"The Last of the Stuarts" is one of the best, though "That Audacious Bishop" runs it bard. Sir W. Laird Clowes must forgive us, however, if we say we like him best on blue water. Many people can write stories of life ashore ; he is one of the few writers who make us feel the fascination of the sea.
