Teacup storm

I learn from usually unreliable sources that the House of Commons is ordering thousands of pounds worth of German crockery. This is the first progressive gesture made by this provincial institution since we decided to go into Europe. One good thing about these Europeans is that, from Delft to Dresden, they make much better crockery than we do. In return the Bundestag can have the delicate Wedgwood Benn. We should stick to teaching Persians how to make Wilton carpets.
