The tailors strike in London has ended in a partial

victory foi the men. They have given way on minor points, but the masters have conceded an additional penny an. hour, or say five shillings a week. For the past six months, we believe, scarcely a strike has -occurred which has not ended in a concession of increased wages, justified by the rise of prices, which seems at this moment more rapid than ever.
