A drama of domestic interest, Ifritten by MM. Cormon and E. Grange, and entitled Les Crotchets du Pere Martin has been produced at the Gaite. The sorrows of an old man, of humble station, who has saved a considerable sum, and is then ruined by a worthless son, on whom he has rested all his hopes, forms the subject of the piece. The ultimate reformation of the son, who comes back from across the seas, with ample possessions, dries the tears of Pere Martin and brings the tale to a happy conclusion.
