Hospital Stojj:—Acting Assist-Surg. T. H. Burgess, M.D. has ceased to do duty, there being no longer occasion for his services, Breret.—Major-Creneral Sir W. Eyre, K.C.B. to have the local rank of Lieut.- Gen. in North America. The undermentioned Quartermaster, retired on half-pay; to have the honorary rank of Capt. from the date of his retirement, under the Royal Warrant of December 17, 1855—Quartermaster M. Rorke on half-pay of the Cape Mounted Riflemen. The local rank of Captain conferred upon A. W. Sleigh, Esq. while serving with the Land Transport Corps, to be discontinued, his services being no longer required.
