CHRISTIAN SOCIAL RECONSTRUCTION.

(To THE EDITOR or THE " SPECTATOR."]

&a,—All thinking citizens are anxious to bring their quota of sound judgment to the many difficult problems that are before the nation at the present time, and those who are believers in the Christian ethic are asking themselves what is the Christian solution to this or that problem. An attempt is being made to help to find an answer to that question by the means of a Conference on some Christian Essentials of Social Reconstruction, to be held at Thelfayes, Swanwiek, Derbyshire, from June 21st to 30th. The lectures are given by experts. The. School is arranged by the Interdenominational Conference of Social Service Unions, under the Chairmanship of the Bishop of Oxford. Full particulars can be had from the Honorary Secretary, at 92 St. George's Square, London, S.W. I.
