* * * * The Turkish Prime Minister, Fethi Bey,

has fallen as a result of an adverse vote with regard to the measures for suppressing the Kurdish revolt. The Constantinople correspondent of the Times says that either the significance of the insurrection had been underestimated by Fethi Beg, or the extreme Republicans have used the occasion to upset a Prime Minister whom they never liked. If the extreme Republicans gather more power into their hands we must expect active measures of suppression against the Progressive Party, the Press and any person or institution suspected of working against the existing regime. * * * *
