Tulips and Chrysanthemums

Put in tulips after dressing the soil with basic slag. The bulbs should be four inches down and the site should be sunny but not too exposed. Move chrysanthemums into the greenhouse or frame, having cut the stems a little above the ground. Set the roots firmly in soil and ashes and they will be ready for making cuttings in the spring.
