statue should be made aware of the rumour in circulation, that it is intended as a boon to Mr. MATTHEW COTES WYATT, the sculptor who has acquired such unenviable distinction by his equestrian statue of GEORGE the Third in Pall Mall East. A job would be an appropriate termina- tion, certainly, to an affair that was begun under false pretences.
