COLERIDGE'S SIX MONTHS IN THE WEST INDIES;

Ma. MURRAY has done well to incorporate the Six Months in the West Indies with his Family Library. It has long been a favourite of ours, and we think it would be difficult to point out any narrative of voyage or travel that in the same compass contains more pleasant scenes or brighter sketches of manners. The voyager happened to be a man of education, and of considerable brilliancy of fancy,—qualities that do not very constantly sail to the West Indies; where, however, materials abound for the observation of the moralist, the politician, and the artist.
