The latest accounts from Paris, down to yesterday evening, concur
in the opinion that the bill for the dotation of the President will be rejected: there is no doubt that the Committee 'will report against it ; and the idea that the Assembly at large may go counter to the report of the Committee seems to be a wild hope.
