On the 29th December, in Port of Spain, Trinidad, the Hon. William Hardin Burnley, the Senior Unofficial Member of her Majesty's Council in that Island ; An his list year.

On the 20th January, at Hadham, Herta, Major-General Robert Bryce Fearon, C.B.; in his 68th year. On the 24th, at Majolati, near Ancona, Spontini. the musical composer ; in his 72d year. He had been for more than twenty years Director-General of the Xing of Prue.. sia's musical establishment.

On the 30th, at Blackheath Hill, Kent, Mrs. Anne Lawrie. Widow of Peter Lawrie, Esq., of Emesple, in the stewartry• of Kirkcudbright, Scotland ; in her 90th year. On the 30th, at Torquay, Frances MariaLouisa, youngest daughter of Sir W. Horne, of Upper Harley Street; in her 23d year.
